Afloat and Ashore - the Art of Frank Henry Mason

Frank Henry Mason is best known for his maritime paintings and as a creator of art deco travel and railway posters.
Praised for his light impressionist style, Mason was a founding member of the Staithes Art Club, known today as the Northern Impressionists.
The exhibition shows a full and varied range of Mason's art as both a traditional maritime painter as well as a successful commercial artist.
