Inflata Nation 1

THE opportunity to put some bounce into your working life has really blown up - after more than 250 people applied for jobs at the new Inflata Nation site due to open soon in Beverley!

The leading leisure company is looking for 40 new staff – in roles ranging from assistant manager to general ‘bounce assistants’ – to help run the exciting new attraction that is due to throw open its doors at the town’s Flemingate shopping centre early next month (August).

And with the promise of being able to test out the giant inflatable slides, climbing walls, assault courses and massive ball pool coming as part of the job description, it’s no surprise that plenty of people are keen to get on board.

Inflata Nation co-founder Michelle Ball, who is still welcoming CVs from anyone interested, said: “The response to our recruitment drive for Beverley has been amazing and we are thrilled that the enthusiasm for the new site is so high. We’ve had more than 250 responses and we are currently going through the applications before selecting our chosen candidates and setting up some recruitment days for potential staff. If successful they will be joining the Inflata Nation family and will get plenty of support and job satisfaction – as well as they chance to test out the inflatables every day before the public enter the arena!”

Inflata Nation Beverley is due to open its doors the first week of August, though an official launch date is yet to be announced.

The first Inflata Nation theme park opened in Trafford Park, Manchester, in October last year and added a further site in Runcorn, Cheshire, in May. Both have proved huge hits with people of all ages, with the Manchester site welcoming 100,000 visitors in its first four months. The Beverley centre – which will be joined by another venue in Birmingham – cranks up the fun even further as it will be the UK’s first double-decker inflatable theme park. The Flemingate centre boasts two floors of inflatable fun as well as the UK’s largest ball pool – holding an incredible 200,000 plastic balls. There will be the huge Inflata Mountain, a Gladiator-style duel over a giant air pillow and a 25ft-high climbing wall to test your scrambling skills. Other attractions include an Inflata Drop slide that shoots straight into the ball pool, an Inflata Ladder where you charge to the top to see who can ring the bell first, plus an Inflata Wave dual slide to race your friends to the bottom.

The little ones aren’t left out either, with an Inflata Tots area specially designed for those under the age of four.

Inflata Nation was set up by Michelle and her husband Matt when they spotted a gap in the market and transformed their Jump Nation trampoline centres into inflatable fun parks last year.

Matt said: “Beverley is an exciting new venture and is pushing the boundaries with its double-decker layout. We are looking forward to welcoming a host of new customers to try out the fun.”
