A star-studded line-up of seven renowned local chefs will be giving cooking demonstrations in the Beverley Food Festival Food Theatre Marquee, run by Chef David Nowell of Tickton Grange Hotel & Restaurant.

They are: ‘Local Food Hero 2015’ Ben Cox from The Star @Sancton; James Mackenzie from Michelin starred restaurant The Pipe & Glass Inn; John Robinson from Beverley’s only Michelin and Good Food Guide rated restaurant Whites Restaurant; Tina Cerutti from Cerutti 2; Matthew Barker from The Westwood Restaurant; Jason Rowe from Rebels’ Smokehouse; and Thierry Condette from TC Patisserie.

The Food Theatre Marquee is free to attend and seats 200 people.  Large display screens are placed above the cooking area and linked to cameras recording the live action for easy viewing.

A highlight of the Food Theatre Marquee schedule is the 'Ready Steady Cook!' styled challenge, where stars from BBC Radio Humberside Jonathan Parker & Chloe Davies cause kitchen chaos with Ben Cox (The Star @ Sancton) and Matthew Barker (The Westwood Restaurant, Beverley).

Also, two young local chefs Steven Lodge and James Workman take to the stage for the HEYHA Copper Saucepan Final, compered by Phil White from BBC Radio Humberside.
